The Katsina State Government has announced the commencement of digital enrolment for the 2026 promotional assessment exercise for qualified personnel serving under the State Public Service. This development follows formal authorization granted by His Excellency, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, approving Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic as the organizing institution for the conduct of the assessment scheduled for Saturday, 31 January, and Sunday, 1 February 2026.

According to an official circular issued from the Office of the Head of Service, all necessary preparations have been finalized by the Polytechnic to ensure a smooth and transparent process. Eligible workers are therefore directed to begin their online enrolment between Thursday, 8th January, and Monday, 26th January 2026. Unique assessment numbers have already been allocated to every qualified participant by the Polytechnic, and these identifiers will be required during data entry. The numbers, as contained in the attached list, serve as the primary reference throughout the process and must be carefully handled to avoid errors.

Personnel on Grade Levels 07 to 14 will be assessed in two subjects at any of the three approved locations – Katsina, Daura, or Funtua – depending on individual preference. Meanwhile, staff on Grade Level 15 and above are expected to sit for three papers, including a computer-based test, exclusively at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic.

During enrolment, participants must accurately provide personal details, ensuring that all information corresponds with official records. For the assessment number section, candidates are required to input only the final four digits or scroll through the available list to select the correct identifier, after which the complete number must be entered in the confirmation field. Applicants must also choose their preferred centre, grade range, and venue before proceeding.

In addition, each participant is expected to upload a recent passport photograph along with a valid means of identification. Once all sections have been completed, entries should be carefully reviewed before confirming the declaration and submitting the form.
Officers experiencing technical difficulties or inability to access the portal are advised to visit Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in person to complete their enrolment before the closing date. No extensions will be granted beyond 26 January 2026.

Upon successful submission, a confirmation message will appear containing two important links. One provides access to reading materials, while the other allows candidates to download a document containing personal information, assessment schedule, and clearance card. This document must be printed and presented at the venue on the scheduled date.
All Ministries, Departments, and Agencies are directed to disseminate this information widely to ensure full compliance among eligible personnel.
