The Renewed Hope Ward Development Project (RHWDP) is a Federal Government financial empowerment initiative under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, designed to stimulate economic growth at the grassroots level across Nigeria.

The programme aims to support at least 1,000 economically active individuals in every ward nationwide, helping beneficiaries to expand businesses, create jobs, reduce poverty, and strengthen local economies.

Government Approval and Implementation

The RHWDP has received formal approval from the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and endorsement from the National Economic Council (NEC). Implementation is being coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, in collaboration with federal, state, and local government authorities.

Registration Details

  • Registration is ongoing ward by ward across the country.
  • Registration is completely free. Not payment is required.
  • Interested applicants are advised to contact their Local Government Area (LGA) Coordinators in all 774 LGAs nationwide.

This initiative presents a significant opportunity for residents of Kano State to benefit directly from a Federal Government empowerment programme. Eligible and economically active individuals are strongly encouraged to register promptly.

Members of the public are urged to remain vigilant and avoid fraudsters. No individual or group is authorised to collect money for registration under the Renewed Hope Ward Development Project.
