2. Associate Professor: To qualify for this role, applicants must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline, along with recognized Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. A minimum of eight (8) years of academic experience is required, complemented by a robust record of scholarly publications in national and international journals. Proven academic leadership is a critical requirement for this level, including experience in mentoring junior faculty and contributing to institutional policy development.
3. Senior Lecturer: Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field, supported by a good first degree and a Master’s qualification. A minimum of six (6) years of teaching and research experience is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a strong record of publications in reputable journals and the ability to provide academic guidance and leadership. Individuals must also be aged between 18 and 50 and present a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
4. Lecturer I: Candidates are required to hold Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) and possess both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the relevant field. Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of teaching and research experience and provide evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals. Candidates are required to be within the age range of 18 to 50 years and present a valid NYSC certificate.
5. Lecturer II: This position requires a Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization, a first degree, and a Master’s degree. Candidates should have at least four (4) years of academic experience and evidence of published research in reputable journals.
Preference may be given to individuals with additional publications. Applicants must be aged 18 to 50 and possess a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
6. Assistant Lecturer: Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates must have a First Class or Second-Class Upper Division Bachelor’s degree. Age restrictions apply, with eligible applicants being between 18 and 50, and all must provide proof of completing the NYSC programme or an approved exemption.
7. Graduate Assistant: Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours in the relevant field from an accredited university. Individuals must fall within the 18-50 age range and provide a valid NYSC certificate. Graduate Assistants serve as entry-level teaching staff, gaining valuable experience in instructional delivery, research, and student support.
8. Graduate Assistant Librarian: Applicants for this role must hold a Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) degree from a recognized university. A minimum of Second Class Upper Division is preferred. Candidates must have at least one (1) year of post-qualification experience, which may include time served during the National Youth Service Corps. Proficiency in digital library tools and information management systems is required.
9. Technologist II: Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science Laboratory Technology, including disciplines such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Microbiology. A minimum of Lower Credit is required. Applicants must have five credit passes at SSCE/GCE/NECO, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings. Registration with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) is mandatory. Entry-level experience gained during NYSC or internships will be an advantage. Age must be between 18 and 50 years.
10. Technologist I: Applicants for this higher-level technical position must demonstrate advanced laboratory and scientific skills, alongside the required HND or equivalent. Candidates must also comply with the professional standards set by the NISLT and demonstrate competence in laboratory operations, equipment management, and scientific reporting.
