
The Borno State Arabic and Sangaya Education Board (BOSASEB) has officially announced a recruitment exercise aimed at strengthening the delivery of Arabic, Islamic, and Qur’anic education across selected Higher Islamic Schools in the state. This initiative forms part of BOSASEB’s broader commitment to preserving strong moral, cultural, and Islamic values among students while improving the quality of teaching and learning in Sangaya and Higher Islamic institutions.
According to the announcement, the recruitment targets qualified and dedicated individuals who are passionate about teaching and the promotion of Islamic education.
Successful candidates will be deployed to Higher Islamic Schools located in Bama, Marte, Mobbar, Kaga, Gwoza, and Chibok Local Government Areas. These areas are strategic to the board’s efforts to ensure equitable access to quality Arabic and Islamic education across Borno State.
Eligibility & Qualifications
To be eligible for the recruitment, applicants must possess relevant academic or professional qualifications in Arabic, Islamic, or Qur’anic education. In addition, candidates are expected to demonstrate good character, strong moral discipline, and a clear commitment to teaching and mentoring students. Applicants must also be willing to work in any Local Government Area where they may be assigned and must meet all other recruitment criteria set by BOSASEB.
The application process is strictly online. The recruitment portal officially opens on 14th January, 2026 and closes on 24th January, 2026. Interested candidates are advised to apply early and ensure that all required information is accurately provided before the deadline.

During the application process, candidates are required to upload a recent passport photograph and ensure that all personal and academic details are correctly entered. Applicants are strongly advised to review their information thoroughly before final submission, as errors or inconsistencies may affect their chances of selection.
After successful submission, a copy of the completed application form will be automatically sent to the applicant’s email address. Candidates are required to print this form and keep it safely, as it must be presented on the day of the aptitude test along with a recent passport photograph. In addition, applicants must print and bring all qualification documents, including an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV), for verification and documentation purposes. Failure to comply with these instructions may negatively impact the application.
