The Jigawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency (JISITDEA) has officially released the list of shortlisted candidates for the Jigawa Tech Talent Acquisition Program (J2TAP) Phase One interview. This marks a major step in the state’s effort to build a strong digital workforce and empower young people with relevant technology skills.
According to the agency, the interview exercise will take place from 14th January to 16th January, 2026, across all 27 Local Government Areas of Jigawa State. Candidates who participated in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) and screening process are advised to promptly check their status to confirm their eligibility for the next stage.

The interview session will be conducted by a panel of program coordinators and is expected to last between 15 and 20 minutes per candidate. During the interview, participants will be assessed on their basic technical knowledge, previous experience, motivation for joining the program, and overall commitment to completing the training successfully.
Shortlisted candidates are strongly advised to arrive at their interview venues early, come along with valid identification, and dress appropriately. Failure to attend the interview at the scheduled time may lead to automatic disqualification.
The J2TAP initiative is designed to equip youths with practical digital and technology skills that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and innovation within the state. Successful candidates will benefit from structured training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world technology projects.
