The Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited Applied Technology Training Program (ATTP) is a highly structured foundation-level initiative created to prepare young Nigerians for entry-level technical roles within the oil and gas sector. Approved by City & Guilds, the program combines theoretical instruction with practical exposure, ensuring participants gain industry-relevant competence and professional confidence. The training is hosted at the SEPNU Technical Training Center (TTC) in Eket, a modern facility equipped to deliver hands-on learning under the guidance of experienced professionals.

The Program runs for approximately 23 months and is carefully designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace application. Throughout the training period, participants will be exposed to real-life engineering practices, safety standards, equipment handling, and problem-solving techniques commonly applied in energy operations. This immersive learning environment enables trainees to develop strong technical capacity while cultivating discipline, teamwork, and independent thinking.

At the end of the program, successful candidates will be awarded a SEPNU Certificate of Completion alongside a City & Guilds Certificate in Applied Engineering Technology within their chosen discipline, adding strong professional credibility to their career profile.

Eligibility & Qualifications 

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens and possess a National Diploma (ND) in Chemical Engineering Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Petroleum Engineering Technology. Candidates must have graduated with a minimum of Upper Credit obtained no earlier than 2023.

It is important to note that individuals with higher qualifications are not eligible for consideration. Applicants must also present a valid government-issued identification card such as a Voter’s Card, National ID, Driver’s License, or International Passport. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted during the selection process.
