The Modupe & Folorunso Alakija Medical Research and Training Hospital (MOFAMRTH), Osun State University, Osogbo is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for various medical jobs vacancies. This recruitment recruitment aimed at strengthening it’s workforce to boost healthcare delivery, medical research, and professional training.
The hospital is currently equipped with 250 beds, twenty (20) clinical and five (5) non clinical departments, the hospital continues to position itself as a center of innovation and quality healthcare service in Nigeria and in diaspora.

Available Positions
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following various academic and professional positions within the hospital.
1. Consultants:
The hospital is recruiting Consultants in the following specialities; Anesthesia, Orthopedic and Traumatology, Anatomic and Molecular Pathology, Pediatrics, Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Preventive Dentistry, Radio Diagnosis, Restorative Dentistry, Internal Medicine (with sub-specializations such as Cardiology, Gastrointestinal Medicine, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Dermatology), Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Medical Physics (Radio Physicist), Radiotherapy, and Radiology.
Requiements:
- Applicants must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Evidence of completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). In addition.
- Candidates must have successfully passed the Part II Fellowship Examination of either the West African College or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, or possess an equivalent recognized qualification.
2. Medical Officers:
Emergency Medicine (Adult and Children Accident & Emergency), Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics, Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, Surgery, Clinical Pathology, and Dentistry.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution and be duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- They must possess NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Possess a current practicing license issued by the MDCN.
3. Pharmacist:
Candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) degree from a recognized university.
- Applicants must have successfully completed a one-year internship program in an approved institution.
- Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) and possess a current practicing license.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
4. Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science with at least a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university.
- Completion of a one-year internship in an approved institution is mandatory.
- Candidates must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) and possess a valid practicing license.
- A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is also required.
5. Radiographer
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Radiography (B.Rad) degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized institution.
- Possess a one-year internship.
- Applicants must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria and hold a current practicing license.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certification.
6. Physiotherapist
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) with at least a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university.
- A one-year internship in an approved institution.
- Applicants must be registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Registration) Board of Nigeria and have a valid practicing license.
- NYSC discharge or exemption Certificate.
