
SFH Nigeria Recruitment: Data Quality Assessor (DQA) Vacancies 2026
The Society for Family Health (SFH), Nigeria has opened applications for Data Quality Assessor (DQA)/Data Assessor job vacancies across selected states in Nigeria. This recruitment is part of an ongoing data validation and quality improvement exercise aimed at strengthening health program data at community levels.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with basic educational qualifications, data assessment experience, and an interest in public health programs, particularly HIV/AIDS interventions.
Available Locations
Successful candidates will be deployed to community centres in the following states: Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, and Zamfara. Applicants are encouraged to apply only for the state where they can conveniently work and are familiar with the local context.

Contract Duration and Work Schedule
- Contract Duration: Eighteen (18) working days (inclusive of one training day).
- Work Hours: Eight (8) hours per day.
This is a short-term engagement focused on data quality validation activities.
Responsibilities of Data Quality Assessors
Selected Data Quality Assessors will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Participate in orientation and training for the data validation exercise
- Review collected data to ensure compliance with approved data quality standards and guidelines
- Identify, document, and report discrepancies or inconsistencies in line with the DQA protocol.
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of data entries using predefined criteria.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports to Data.FI DQA site team leads.
- Properly document all data validation findings.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy, confidentiality, and security protocols.
- Participate in client verification exercises by listening in on phone calls and documenting feedback.
- Provide daily updates and reports to assigned supervisors.
Expected Deliverables
At the end of the assessment exercise, Data Quality Assessors are expected to submit the following:
- Completed DQA abstraction tool for each assigned site to Data.FI.
- Phone call checklist submitted at the end of each verification call.
- Signed consent forms
- Signed site feedback form summarizing overall site performance.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of WAEC certificate
Previous experience conducting Data Quality Assessments (DQA) is an advantage. - Experience using Kobo Collect is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Prior experience in data assessment or similar roles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS program implementation in Nigeria.
- Must own a functional Android device.
