Kano State Govt Invites Staff for Deployment to State Polytechnic Gaya
The Kano State Government has formally commenced the deployment of qualified and interested civil servants to the newly established Kano State Polytechnic, Gaya, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s journey toward full academic and administrative operations.

According to the circular, interested officers are required to submit formal applications accompanied by a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV), photocopies of all relevant academic and professional credentials, letters of appointment and confirmation, notifications of promotion where applicable, and any other supporting documents that demonstrate competence and experience. This thorough documentation requirement is intended to ensure a transparent screening and verification process, as only candidates who meet the stipulated qualifications and rank requirements will be shortlisted for further assessment and interview.
All completed applications must be submitted to the Office of the Head of Civil Service on or before Monday, 2nd February 2026, by the close of work. The notice clearly states that submissions received after the deadline will not be considered, emphasizing the importance of strict adherence to the guidelines and timeline. This firm deadline reflects the urgency attached to the Polytechnic’s operational launch and the need to complete staffing arrangements promptly.
The deployment exercise covers a wide spectrum of roles, reflecting the diverse institutional needs of a modern polytechnic. Vacancies for Foreman, Senior Craftsman, Chief Motor Driver Mechanic, Senior Motor Driver Mechanic, Planning Officer, and Statistician demonstrate the institution’s need for skilled support staff who will sustain daily operations and contribute to institutional efficiency.
The ranks for these positions fall under established civil service salary structures, including CONPCASS and CONTEDISS levels.
