The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission (CSC) has officially released a new date and detailed timetable for the collection of appointment letters by candidates who were successful in the 2025 Civil Service recruitment exercise.
The announcement applies to candidates recruited under Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), and National Diploma (ND) cadres across various ministries, departments, and agencies of the Adamawa State Government.
According to the Commission, the collection of appointment letters will commence in January 2026 and will be conducted in phases based on cadres, in order to ensure an orderly and smooth process. Successful candidates are therefore advised to strictly adhere to the dates assigned to their respective cadres to avoid unnecessary delays or inconveniences.
Releasing the timetable, the Chairman of the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, Barrister Musa Kaibo, stated that the exercise forms part of the final stage of the recruitment process approved by the Executive Governor of Adamawa State. He emphasized that the Commission is committed to transparency, fairness, and efficiency in strengthening the state civil service with qualified and competent personnel.

For Degree cadres, the collection of appointment letters will begin on Monday, 5th January 2026. On this day, candidates recruited as Accountant II and Administrative Officer II are scheduled to collect their appointment offers.
The exercise will continue on Tuesday, 6th January 2026, for candidates in the following cadres: Adult Education Officer II, Agricultural Engineer II, Agricultural Officer II, Archaeologist II, Architect II, Archivist II, Audio Mixer Officer II, and Auditor II.
On Wednesday, 7th January 2026, appointment letters will be issued to candidates in the cadres of Budget Officer II, Building Officer II, Civil Engineer II, Commercial Officer II, Community Development Officer II, Community Health Officer II, Cultural Officer II, and Curator II.
The fourth phase is scheduled for Thursday, 8th January 2026, covering a wide range of cadres, including Education Officer II, Electrical Engineer II, Entrepreneur Officer II, Environmental Health Officer, Environmental Scientist II, Estate Surveyor Officer II, Film Editor II, Ethnographer Officer II, Fire Officer II, Fisheries Officer II, Forest Officer II, Geologist, Graphic Arts Officer II, Hotel Officer II, and Hydrologist II.
Candidates in the cadres of Information Officer II, Inspector of Taxes II, Laboratory Scientist II, Labour Officer II, Land Officer II, Legal Enforcement Officer II, Livestock Officer II, and Librarian II are scheduled for Friday, 9th January 2026.
After a short break, the collection will resume on Sunday, 11th January 2026, for candidates in the cadres of Local Government Inspector II, Mechanical Engineer II, Medical Laboratory Officer II, News Editor II, News Reporter II, News Translator II, Nursing Officer II, Pharmacist, Planning Officer II, Procurement Officer II, Produce Officer II, Producer II, Programme Analyst II, Quantity Surveyor II, Registrar of Cooperative Societies II, Revenue Officer II, and Scientific Officer II.
The final phase for Degree cadres will take place on Monday, 12th January 2026, for candidates appointed as Social Welfare Officer II, Sports Officer II, Sports Writer II, State Counsel, Statistician II, Surveyor II, Tourism Officer II, Town Planning Officer II, Veterinary Officer, Vehicle Inspection Officer II, Water Engineer II, Wildlife Officer II, and Youth Development Officer II.
The Commission urged all successful candidates to come along with valid identification and any required documents during collection. Barrister Musa Kaibo congratulated the candidates and advised them to demonstrate professionalism and dedication as they prepare to assume their new roles in the Adamawa State Civil Service.
